Teea Aarnio is a musician, composer, improviser, sound designer and transdisciplinary artist based in Finland.

Teea Aarnio’s trilingual debut album ‘Väki’ is an ode to life force and connection. The praised folk fusion debut was crafted by Teea Aarnio in collaboration with US based music producer Jukka Backlund and with fellow lyricist and songwriters such as Niillas Holmberg, Timo Kiiskinen and Josef Donner.

Teea Aarnio works in various projects in Finland and internationally. She worked for ten years in a soundpainting music group called Helsinki Soundpainting Ensemble (HSE). The ensemble collaborated with numerous amount of artists and toured in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and France.

Now she is working with different transdisciplinary collaborations and for example within projects relating to education, composing and vocal art.
